up is down, black is white, yes or no depending on who you talk to. but the one that gets me, and has for a while is, what wasn't ever legal in some cases, suddenly is. or, hold on, it's no longer is thought of as illegal by a sector of society. again, depending on who you talk to you. it does look like, depending, some perps are not being prosecuted. that some criminal actions are not prosecuted. sometimes there are absolutely egregious, horrible acts that you feel like are a slam dunk and miraculously, the crims walk. or else the convictions are, for the survivors of homicides, an insult and for the citizens looking on it's often easy to understand their hurt and outrage. if the accused are in law enforcement or officers of the court it's even harder to tolerate.

it's the definition of a topsy-turvy world. it feels like the reality we live in is contained in a gargantuan bell jar and gargantua's been shaking the jar.

it's interesting that this subject that's been circling my awareness, is putting forth in offering. it's the religion/spirituality questions I've been mulling over. i was just discussing this theological subject i came across not too long ago with a friend. i was watching a guy dissect biblical scripture and he said that when lucifer was cast out from heaven his retaliation began at that moment. it was immediate. the discussion seem to be the result of some disagreement over when the campaign to foul and make a mockery of god's creation began.

it came up as a curiosity for me because i think the evil isn't recognized as such here and now. i feel like in some cases because it looks different today to however many thousands of years ago that holy proclamations and laws were laid down on those pages. i feel like the very same stuff still goes on today, yet presents differently. i get the idea that it gives people the impression that that makes something criminal or even just collectively frowned upon but maybe not enforced very stringently seem that it's ok to go ahead and commit 'em.

i've got to interrupt myself to make myself clear on my understanding of evil and the devil. i think that we act in ways that reflect an evil beingness, an ingrained quality. i also feel that physical manifestations, entities thought of as the demonic type are opportunist entities that are more than happy to scare us witless. to reach into our minds and help themselves to our fears.

it could be one of those situations that like ai, they can consult history and ollect all manner of info to use against us. get it and not have it redacted, physically, psychically, the way one of us might should we try to access knowledge in the same way.

it seems kind of a dick move on the part of those entities. i am biased though, because i've been subject to... something. something paranormal in the past, and more since. the more since has been more fun and fascination than the first was fearful.

the thing is, to borrow some religious phraseology, everything happens for a reason. i will add that the reason is probably because everyone involved including trickster spirits wanted them to. it's part of our life path if it happens, and any and every thing is preordained. planned ahead of time. so, enjoy?

no, seriously. let's enjoy these experiences. we plotted all our lives out. i've heard fear described as delicious. i don't think that's true but maybe i need to experience being afraid in that way next time i'm afraid. could be that is how i scratch being a scaredy cat off my karmic checklist. that's what we're here doing you know, living out these experiences we chose. sometimes we relive them repeatedly in this lifetime. we all do it, i think, sometimes over lifetimes. i believe that could be the case and that the repetition may not be any form of punishment. that is a misunderstanding of karma. it may be that we just want to milk that. that they just want to have the experience more than once. it's not for anyone but the individual to decide.

that being the case, even though for me these are uncomfortable developments, it's not always up to me, the development might not be mine. my i may only be necessary peripherally. supporting cast.

it's the the sort of unraveling of crime, justice. who's guilty or not and who adjudicates. i feel like from top to bottom it's all being shifted and sorted until a calm and order can settle. i am super grateful that thus far, i am mostly able to observe unaffected.
